Common questions

What is Exercise Rehab?

Individualised exercise programs that blend clinical Pilates, strength and conditioning and evidence-based practice, led by physiotherapists. It was previously called Clinical Pilates.

Can I still claim Pilates on my private health fund?

Yes, but it's no longer called Pilates. Since April 2019 national health reforms removed most natural therapies from private health cover, so our sessions are called Exercise Rehabilitation. The sessions themselves are unchanged and are still claimable.

How do I get started?

You begin with a 30 to 45 minute full body and movement assessment with a physiotherapist. Then you have individual 30-minute sessions to learn technique and equipment safety. After that you join one-hour semi-private sessions with up to 4 people.

What should I bring?

Gym gear or comfortable clothes you can move in, a water bottle, a towel, and grip socks (encouraged for safety).

What equipment do you have?

Reformers, a trapeze table, CoreAlign, WundaChair, a functional trainer, free weights, and balls, foam rollers and wobble boards.
