FAQ

Quick answers

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. A GP or specialist may still refer you. If so, bring any documents. For an EPC referral, we need the paperwork before your appointment. You can send it early or bring it on the day.

Does my health fund cover physiotherapy?

Most private health funds give a rebate. The amount depends on your cover, so contact your fund.

Can I still claim Pilates on my private health fund?

Yes, though it's now called Exercise Rehabilitation. The sessions are unchanged and still claimable.

I'm a DVA Gold Card holder. Can I see a physiotherapist?

Yes. You need a current GP or specialist referral.

Do you accept workers compensation or motor vehicle accident claims?

Yes.

How do I book in for Exercise Rehab?

Start with a 30 to 45 minute assessment. Then, after one or two individual sessions, you can book one-hour semi-private sessions with up to 4 people.

What do I need to bring to an Exercise Rehab session?

Gym gear or comfortable clothes, a water bottle, a towel, and grip socks.
